It’s the most wonderful time of the year in Twinkle Town Tabor City as we kick off the holiday season with the 33rd Annual Christmas Parade Through the Lights” and Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Parade Participants

The Tabor City Christmas Parade Through the Lights will begin promptly at 6:15pm. We ask that all parade participants be in their Zones by 5:45pm.  

All entries must have a Parade permit to participate in the Christmas Parade. Line up begins at 5:00 PM.

Christmas Tree Lighting to take place at the Town Gate immediately following the parade.

As soon as the parade ends, the Greater Tabor City Chamber of Commerce will host a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Town Gate located near the Tabor City Public Library. During the tree lighting ceremony, there will be entertainment and the Chamber will sell food, sweets, and beverages at very affordable prices.

A very special guest will be sitting on the porch of his Santa House to talk visit with the children of our community.  So… bring your Christmas list to tell Santa exactly what you want for Christmas!!!

Save the date and make plans now to be in Tabor City for the Christmas Parade and the Lighting ceremony after the parade. We promise that of both these events are guaranteed to put you in the holiday mood!!!
